Vietnam Speaker Series
Answering the Call: Women in the Military during Vietnam
Museum
2:00pm
FREE Admission; Ticket Required for Entry

Wilma Vaught, Brigadier General, USAF (Retired), will share her experience as a woman who broke through many barriers confronting women in general, and particularly women in the armed forces. During her 28-year career, she became one of the most decorated military women in US history, and her service helped pave the way for thousands of military women to serve their country. Brig. Gen. Vaught now serves as President of the Board of Directors, Women In Military Service For America, an organization that honors all women since the American Revolution who have served their country.
Special thanks to Lazy Pond Bed & Breakfast for their generous support of the Capturing Vietnam speaker event.
All dates, acts, times and ticket prices subject to change without notice.
The Museum at Bethel Woods will host three speaker events that will connect with the Vietnam exhibits in order to provide greater insight and new perspectives on Vietnam and its role in American and global public memory. The series will focus on presenting different points of view and demonstrating the lasting importance of understanding this important, if diverse, period in our country's history.
