Dance to the Music

A new program being offer this summer in conjunction with The Janice Center, Dance to the Music will introduce hip hop moves from the '60s and '70s (East coast Hip Hop and West Coast Hip Hop) to kids ages 6-10. This will be a fun, educational and enlightening opportunity for kids to learn the origins of a popular dance. It will also provide the proper fundamentals for all hip hop dancing, including the current style.
The four-week workshop will be held the first four Fridays of August from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and is open to ages 6-10. Please see information on Music is Magic for a program suited for children ages 0-5.
In addition to the '60s music, Dance to the Music integrates the Bethel Woods experience not only through the actual setting, but also with special concert offers. All registrants will receive up to four lawn tickets to select concerts held throughout the summer.
The cost for the four week program is $110 per child ($60 for an additional sibling) and includes a CD, t-shirt and the concert tickets.
