Roberta Price, photographer of the special exhibit Across the Great Divide, will describe her experiences on southwestern communes in the 1970s, sharing the story behind the special exhibit. The talk will include stunning photographs and fascinating stories of this important time in American history. Following the talk, Price will answer questions from the audience.
The Speaker Series at Bethel Woods supports the museum's special exhibits by bringing in artists, scholars, and popular culture personalities to discuss themes relating to exhibits, the museum, and the 1960s generally. All speaker events provide opportunities for audience interaction with these guests and for greater civil discourse.
