Mountain Music Festival
and Second Annual Airing of the Quilts

The Mountain Music Harvest Festival is a celebration of the music that originated in small towns and mountain villages across America, and became what we know today as bluegrass, old time and country music.
Guitars, banjos, mandolins and sweet harmonies are all part of this rich and ever changing tradition of American music. Musicians Jam Session at 3:00.
Second Annual Airing of the Quilts: The Event Tent will once again be filled with the beauty of quilts from the Catskills and beyond presented by Calico Geese Quilters and Friends.
Workshops include:
Banjo workshop with Pete Carr
Fiddle workshop with Jesse and Larry Kitzmiller
Harmony Signing workshop with Anne Loeb
Mandolin Workshop & Sing-a-long with Wayne
Music by: Hudson Crossing; Break Neck Annie; Mike Burns Band
2010 marks the twelfth anniversary of the Harvest Festival, an annual event celebrating the bounty, talent, and beauty of Sullivan County and surrounding areas
Held every Sunday from late August to Columbus Day, the festival features a farmers market, craft village, live performances, corn and hay mazes, pony rides and more. Each week offers a new theme or special event sure to please the entire family.
