Dear Student Artist,

Thank you for your interest in the “2011 Next Generation: Showcasing Emerging New Artists” at The Harvest Festival at Bethel Woods. This year we have added a very special component! Those placing in the top three of each category will have their work displayed on our website, on our Facebook page and in the Corridor Gallery at the Bethel Woods Museum.

This is a chance to showcase your best work. This work does not have to come from the current school year nor does it have to be created in school. This is an opportunity to show the community who you are as an artist and to meet others working in the field. All works must be labeled and ready to hang in accordance with the rules and regulations. Your art teacher is there to assist and guide you in the application process. Your work will be on display at The Harvest Festival as part of our Explore the Arts Event on September 25, 2011 from 11am – 4pm. The winners will be announced from the stage at 2:30pm.The 2011 Next Generation 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place winners in each category will then be on display in the Corridor Gallery at the Bethel Woods Museum during the month of October.
