Wade Lawrence
Museum Director
Wade Lawrence is the director of The Museum at Bethel Woods. He has over twenty years experience in history museums, historic sites, decorative arts, historic preservation, and heritage tourism.

Before accepting his current position as museum director at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, Wade served as the director of Glensheen, a house museum in Duluth, Minnesota, owned by the University of Minnesota. He has also served as assistant director of Drayton Hall, a National Historic Landmark in Charleston, South Carolina, which is owned by the National Trust for Historic Preservation; the historic preservation officer for Orange County, Florida; and the curator of collections at the Historical Society of York County, Pennsylvania.

Wade studied architecture and studio art at the University of Tennessee and the University of Florida between 1972 and 1977 before suspending his college career to work as an architectural draftsman in Duluth, Minnesota. Wade returned to college in 1982, earning his B.A., summa cum laude, in art history from the University of Minnesota in 1984 and his M.A. in early American culture from the University of Delaware as a fellow in the prestigious Winterthur Program in Early American Culture in 1987.

Chairman, the Gerry Foundation
As chairman of the Gerry Foundation, Mr. Gerry originated and led the development of Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. A pioneer of in the cable television industry, Mr. Gerry was the founder, chairman and chief executive officer of Cablevision Industries Corporation, the nation's largest, privately-owned cable television company before its merger with Time Warner in 1996. Thereafter, Mr. Gerry created the Gerry Foundation, an organization established to stimulate economic activity and revitalize Sullivan County, NY. He is a major benefactor of schools, colleges and medical institutions including the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Sullivan County, Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Mr. Gerry is a recipient of numerous awards, including cable television most prestigious, the Vanguard Award for Leadership, and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

Michael Egan

Senior Director, The Museum at Bethel Woods
Michael Egan has served as CEO of the Museum Development Group for the Gerry Foundation since January 2006 and, as such, has been responsible for all aspects of the development of The Museum at Bethel Woods. In addition, Mr. Egan also serves as senior director of The Museum at Bethel Woods. Mr. Egan has been successfully involved in the television industry for close to 30 years, beginning in the production community and eventually moving into cable programming and operations. He owns Renaissance Media Partners, LLC, which provides strategic consulting services to the multi-channel television industry. Mr. Egan spent 15 years at Cablevision Industries, Inc. (CVI) in Liberty, NY where he was a member of the senior management team as the company grew to become the 8th largest cable television company in the United States.

Gerry Foundation
The Gerry Foundation Museum Development Group planned and executed all phases of the project with its partners, including concept development, building construction, exhibit fabrication and museum curation.

Based in Bethesda, MD with an office in San Francisco, G & A practices internationally, specializing in museum master planning and exhibition design, environmental graphics and brand development. The award-winning firm's expertise includes a wide spectrum of visitor experiences such as public- and private-sector museums, visitor centers, hall of fame exhibits, science and learning centers, traveling exhibitions, and corporate experiences. Current projects total more than 50, including the new museum for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the National Museum of American Jewish History, the B.B. King Museum, the National Sports Museum, and the Gettysburg National Military Park and Visitor Center.

Westlake Reed Leskosky ("WRL"), founded in 1905, specializes in innovative designs for Performing and Other Cultural Arts, Workplace Environments, Healthcare, Research and Technology, and Historic Preservation and Adaptive Reuse. WRL has been honored with more than 200 significant design awards in the last twenty-five years, including a state level AIA Gold Medal Firm Award, a National Endowment for the Arts Federal Design Achievement Award, several honors from the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and a GSA Design Award. The firm's work has been featured nationally and internationally in professional and popular publications, including Architecture, Architectural Record, Progressive Architecture, Building Design & Construction, Contract, Interiors and Wallpaper.

ZOR's clients include the American Museum of Natural History, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute, Westport Country Playhouse and New Museum of Contemporary Art, among other prestigious institutions throughout the Northeast.

Cortina Productions
Cortina Productions designs and produces award-winning films and interactive experiences for museums that entertain, inform, and inspire.  Some of its more recent projects include the Newseum's 4D Theater, Muhammad Ali Center, Monterey Bay Aquarium, UNC Basketball Hall of Fame, and the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian.

Northern Light Productions is a full-service producing high-quality, nonfiction media. The firm seeks to create the kind of programs that start conversations - thought provoking, well researched, and visually powerful. Established in 1982, the Boston-based firm produces a wide variety of work for museums and broadcast worldwide.

NLP produced 17 films for TMBW ranging in length from approximately 3.5 minutes to 18 minutes.
