Children

Bethel Woods does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 years old through its websites. Anyone under 18 years old should seek his or her parent’s or guardian’s permission prior to using or disclosing any information on the websites. Bethel Woods believes that parents should supervise their children’s online activities and should consider using parental control tools available from online services and software manufacturers that help provide a safe online environment for children to work within. Bethel Woods may collect other personal information about the visitors to our website. When you register for a promotional package or educational program, your personal information may be shared with the businesses or educational institutions identified by name in the promotional package or educational program materials. This is required to complete your reservation or registration in the promotional package or educational program. We cannot be responsible for the content or privacy practices employed by these third parties. For this reason, we encourage you to review the privacy policies of those third parties before disclosing any personal information to or through them. From time to time, we may be required to share personal information in response to a court order, subpoena, government investigation, or as otherwise required by law. We also reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we, in good faith, believe to be unlawful. How Secure is Information About Me?

Without limiting the other provisions of this Privacy Statement, we work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. We reveal only the last four digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.
