general policies
- The concert parking lots will open at approximately 4:30 PM
- Museum admission ticket AND a valid concert ticket required to enter lots and park prior to 4:30 PM
- Concert tickets required to enter lots after 4:30 PM
- The main concert gates will open approximately at 6:00 PM
- Allow yourself at least 20 minutes to travel from your vehicle to the Pavilion and Lawn seating area
- Each guest in the reserved Pavilion must be a ticket holder with an assigned seat
- Pets are not allowed on the premises (Service animals are permitted and welcome)
- There is a no re-entry policy upon exiting

MUST SHOW photo ID used for the ticket purchase BEFORE entering the parking lots. ONLY guests on the Ticketmaster or venue will call list will be permitted to park and pick-up tickets. The Box Office only accepts will call requests from Ticketmaster. Have credit card used for purchase.

- Blankets, backpacks, small soft cooler (cloth/bag style), hand-held umbrellas
- Cameras that don't have the capability of multiple lenses are permitted, except when prohibited by the artist
- Water - two 20 oz. factory sealed plastic bottles of water per person — water is the only beverage permitted into Bethel Woods Center for the Arts concerts
- Food — one 1 gallon clear zip lock bag per person
- Strollers or carriages for small children
the following items are not permitted:
- Lawn chairs are not permitted to be brought into the venue — chairs are available for $5.00 rental at the box office or for PURCHASE ONLINE in advance.
- Sporting equipment (including roller-blades, skateboards, and bikes)
- Aerosol cans, firearms, knives, fireworks, laser pointers
- Glass of any kind (including bottles)
- Enjoy your hula-hoop in the parking lots, but leave it in your car before entering gates
- No unauthorized recording of any kind (tapers allowed in reserved section near mix position)
- Some concerts may have additional restrictions. Please check individual event pages for specific restrictions.
Note: All prohibited items will be confiscated and discarded without compensation. Guests are not permitted to bring in alcoholic beverages from outside and may not leave with alcohol purchased inside the venue. Guests may return items to car prior to entry. There is no claim-check area to store items. We ask that our guests avoid bringing unnecessary items.
Drunk and disorderly behavior or violation of any alcohol policy will result in ejection from Bethel Woods without refund. Bethel Woods management reserves the right to discontinue the sale of alcohol at any time.
parking lot / tailgating guidelines
- There is NO overnight parking or camping permitted on Bethel Woods property; abandoned cars will be towed at owner’s expense
- NO POST-SHOW TAILGATING; all vehicles must exit lots immediately
- Concert parking lots open at 4:30 PM and a valid concert ticket is required to enter the lots
- Must have a Museum admission ticket AND a valid Phish concert ticket to enter The Museum parking lots before the posted concert lot open times
- Picnic style tailgating is allowed within one’s own parking space
- No open flame, tent or canopies are allowed in the parking lot
- Barbequing is permitted on the pavement with gas-fired grills only
- NO CHARCOAL GRILLS
- State Law prohibits the sale of tickets or any unauthorized merchandise in the parking lot
- Parking at Bethel Woods is for the convenience of concert and museum ticket holders only
- Distribution of unauthorized pamphlets, flyers, or any other item is strictly prohibited

Camping is prohibited in the Town of Bethel without property owner permission.
Please respect our neighbors. Bethel Woods is located in a bucolic country setting and we strive to live peacefully with our neighbors. Avoid private property and do not use neighboring property as a thru-way to enter the concert venue property. Thank you.

May I smoke at Bethel Woods? Yes. Bethel Woods has designated smoking areas near the lawn seating area only. Please limit smoking to designated areas only. Smoking is NOT permitted in the reserved seating pavilion.
Are there pay phones? No. In an emergency situation, a courtesy phone is available in the security office at Festival Plaza.
Is there an ATM machine inside the venue? Yes. Four ATM’s are located on site: outside the Box Office, at the Market Shed just inside the main gates, at walkway intersection across from Lawn Chair rental depot and inside lower Festival Plaza concessions area. Credit cards and debit cards are also accepted at all permanent concession buildings.
Is there a lost and found and where is it located? Yes. For lost and found, call Security at 845.583.2072 or email bpacsecurity@BethelWoodsCenter.org
Can I bring my pet? No. Pets are not allowed inside the venue of Bethel Woods or the parking lots. Do not travel with your pets to the concert or leave them in your vehicle or in the parking lot. The parking lots are fully exposed to the weather and this can be a very unsafe or fatal situation for animals. Service animals with appropriate documentation are permitted and must be checked-in upon arrival with venue Security. There are several nearby kennels and pet lodging options available.

NY State DOT has authorized local police to enforce NO parking, stopping or standing on RT17B from Perry Road to RT55, cars will be towed at owners expense. Do not create pedestrian traffic on RT17B and roadways entering Bethel Woods; help avoid car accidents or personal injury.
From NYC and Northern NJ:
Take New York State Thruway (I-87) North to Exit 16 Harriman. Proceed onto Route 17(86) West to Exit 104 going west on Route 17B. Travel approximately 10 miles and turn right onto Hurd Road at the Bethel Woods sign.
From Central and Western Connecticut:
Take Route 84 West to Exit 4W toward Route 17(86) West. Proceed to Exit 104 onto Route 17B West. Travel approximately 10 miles and turn right onto Hurd Road at the Bethel Woods sign.
From Western New York:
Take Route 17(86) East to Exit 101; at the end of the ramp make a right turn onto Co Rd 71/Ferndale Rd.; follow for 2 miles and turn left onto NY-55 W. Follow NY-55 W for 7 miles before turning right at Co Rd 141/Horseshoe Lk Road and then left at West Shore Rd. Turn onto Hurd Road and arrive at Bethel Woods.
From Albany and Massachusetts:
Take the NYS Thruway (Interstate 87) to Exit 19 toward Rt-28/Kingston/Rhinecliff Bridge. Take the 1st exit onto NY-28 N at the traffic circle. Merge onto US-209 S toward Ellenville and travel approx 38 miles. Turn right onto Route 17 West to Exit 104 going west on Route 17B. Travel approximately 10 miles and turn right onto Hurd Road at the Bethel Woods sign.
From Scranton:
Take Route 84 East to PA-739 exit, EXIT 34, turn left at the end of the ramp heading away from Dingmans Ferry/ Lords Valley. Turn right onto PA-434. Follow PA 434 approximately 13 miles, crossing bridge into New York PA-434 becomes NY-55. Follow NY-55 about 15 miles. Turn left onto NY-17B. Travel approximately 2 miles and turn right onto Hurd Road at the Bethel Woods sign.
From Milford and Port Jervis:
Take US-209/US-6 over PA/NY border into Port Jervis, NY. Turn left unto W Main Street/97/42 (traffic light). Keep left onto NY-97 for 16 miles then turn right on to NY-55 E; follow for 15 miles and turn left onto NY-17B. Travel approximately 2 miles and turn right onto Hurd Road at the Bethel Woods sign.
From Sussex, NJ
Take NJ-23 (NJ-23 turns into CR-15) to East Main Street/US-6 in Port Jervis, NY. Keep straight on E Main Street to go onto W Main Street/NY-97. Keep left onto NY-97 for 16 miles then turn right on to NY-55 E; follow for 15 miles and turn left onto NY-17B. Travel approximately 2 miles and turn right onto Hurd Road at the Bethel Woods sign.

ALTERNATIVE EXITS
Following EXIT signs at west side of parking lots for directional help using Hurd Rd to West Shore Rd alternative routes. Following traffic thru Lots D and C to exit LEFT ONLY on to Hurd Rd. Left on West Shore Rd towards Perry Rd exits to 17B towards Narrowsburg, Jeffersonville and Honesdale PA routes. Right on West Shore Rd exits to RT 55 towards Liberty and RT 17/86.
