“I feel like it has allowed a healing process to begin not just for me but family as well. I think that it has allowed for them to also confront years of dealing with someone else's addiction.” - Creative Arts Therapy participant

Bethel Woods Center for the Arts invites you to our support group for family members impacted by the addiction of a loved one.

Creative Arts Therapy introduces various aspects of the arts in a safe, non-judgmental space to facilitate personal
growth and healing. Our group offers family members an opportunity to awaken their creativity in a supportive, community-centered
process that will lead to emotional release, self-compassion and new insight.

Learn from the challenges and successes of others who can relate to your situation and find your inner strength through a process
of creative discovery on the historic grounds of the 1969 Woodstock festival. Weekly sessions will incorporate group discussion and
sharing, mindfulness exercises, creative arts activities, and experiences on our campus - including visitation to The Museum.

Please Note: This adults-only group welcomes teens on this date to share in the process of supportive dialogue and art-making.

This program is FREE, but RSVP is recommended as each group is capped at 20 participants at a first come, first serve basis.
