Restoration of the Stage Area & Hilltop Overlook

Field Archaeology Excavation, Discovery and Mapping

We are asked all the time "where is the stage?"

The best way we can answer that is to SHOW visitors where the stage was.  We won't reconstruct it, but by marking its location, guests can imagine the stage in their own minds.  This event is free and open to the public.

We will have the Public Archaeology Team at Binghamton University on-site to begin field excavation, discovery and mapping.

While the archaeologists' work is in progress on our historic site, come out and see if you can participate in the process. Engage with the archaeologists as they explain what they are doing and why.

Want to help? You can take part by screening the soil and inventorying and bagging the artifacts!
