In the MKNG is a festival celebrating creativity, imagination and inspiration. It’s a gathering of people who love to DIY, create and craft. Join us this weekend for  a hands-on, family-friendly experience for anyone looking to have some creative fun. The event includes exciting live demonstrations, interactive activities, charity involvement, craft vendors, food and music.

11:00am-11:30am - Creator Appearance by Alexandra Stapleton
Join Alexandra Stapleton-Smith of The Hedgehog Hollow in a fun crafting made easy seminar! She will show you fun memory keeping projects that are easy to make using the most recent Hedgehog Hollow Subscription Box full of craft products along with Tonic Studios products! Memorialize your festival experience, birthdays, or any fun event in your life in a flash!

11:45am-12:30pm - JOANN Craft Competition
Compete against other attendees in a "speed looping" competition. Each winner will get a prize and two finalists with the most loops will pair off for a grand prize!

1:00pm-2:00pm - Paper House Productions Craft Competition
Show us if YOU can “Make the Cut!" Join us for a unique and exciting crafting experience at this year’s In the MKNG festival. We’re looking for the boldest and most innovative crafters at the festival to step up and join the fun at our Make the Cut craft competition. What can you do with the mystery basket?

2:15pm-3:00pm - Creator Appearances by Marie Segares and Jessie Rayout
Join Jessie Rayout from Jessie At Home and Marie Segares from Underground Crafter for an interactive presentation of styling handmade shawls. They will share some of their favorite shawl designs, show off how they style shawls of different shapes and lengths, and share tips for taking care of handmade shawls so that they always look and feel great. Goodie bags will be distributed to the first 30 participants and there will be giveaways throughout their demonstrations.

3:30pm-4:30pm - Crayola Craft Competition

Sunday, September 30:

1:00pm-1:30pm - Red Heart Craft Competition
Who can Loop-It the fastest? In 30 minutes who can make the longest Red Heart Loop-It™ Scarf? No tools required. Finger Looping Fun™! Hosts and judges will be Marly Bird, Red Heart National Spokesperson and Tamara Kelly, Creator of Mooglyblog.com.

2:30pm-3:30pm - Creator Appearances by Louis Boria
Louis Boria, the Subway Knitter and one of Lion Brand Yarn’s Ambassadors, will talk about his passion for knitting and how a chance encounter led to fame. He will also talk about #HatNotHate, a campaign that Lion Brand has launched against bullying.

3:30pm-4:30pm - Duck Brands Craft Competition
Influencer Lynn Lilly of Craft Box Girls will host Duck Brand’s craft competition on the Creator Stage at 3:30pm. Join Duck Brand for this two round creative competition. In Round one, contestants will be challenged to make three types of Duck Tape flowers. In Round two, the winners of Round one will be challenged to make a wearable item and embellish it with their Duck Tape flowers.
