Volunteer Open House
Love live music? Wish you were able to attend the historic 1969 Woodstock festival? Looking for a way to meet new people, have fun, and contribute positively to your community? Combine your interest in all three - become a volunteer at Bethel Woods!
Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is hosting a Volunteer Open House on Saturday, February 2 from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. to provide information on volunteering with the 501c3 nonprofit cultural organization at the historic site of the 1969 Woodstock festival. The morning will include museum tours, presentations, and the opportunity to talk with current volunteers and staff members about the different opportunities available, spring opening, training, scheduling, and the rewards of volunteering.
Mary Ann Bopp, a volunteer since 2012, said, “Bethel Woods is truly a gem that has added so much to the local and surrounding communities – and to the lives of guests and volunteers just like me. As a Bethel Woods Volunteer, I am transformed into someone that can help provide that amazing feeling I first had when I experienced my first show [here].”
Interested guests will learn about the essential role Volunteers have during concerts, community festivals, Museum Education & Creative Programming and in The Museum.
