About Dustin Growick
After graduating with a M.A. in Socio-Cultural Anthropology from SUNY Stony Brook, Dustin worked at the New York Hall of Science and the American Museum of Natural History, studying the ways in which science institutions engage, educate, and entertain...from the inside. Then, in the private sector, Dustin helped build Museum Hack into a million-dollar tour business while spearheading its consulting work with dozens of museums across the globe. By helping these cultural institutions create unique and engaging adult experiences that “sell science,” Dustin forged new on-ramps to successfully attract and maintain new audiences.
Ultimately, Dustin’s specialty and true love lies with the evolutionary marvels—and gateway drugs to science—that are dinosaurs. He raced a T. rex on his Youtube channel, The Dinosaur Show, teamed with DK Books to write two dinosaur encyclopedias, led paleontological trips, and has been featured in multiple documentaries, podcasts, and TV series.
