  • No pre-registration required.

Museum Drop-In workshops are open to all ages Saturday afternoons in spring and fall. Inspired by the Museum’s collections, special exhibitions, and the spirit of the '60s, topics rotate on a weekly basis. Peace, love, music, art, and togetherness are paired with essential, art-making skills.


Drop-In Sessions are $10/person for materials or free either with a Museum ticket or for Art, Music, Woodstock for Kids participants.  Learn more here!

Workshops Include

Saturday, September 21: Drawing to Music

Inspired by visiting musician Chris Thile's lyrical storytelling, grab your pencils, crayons, and markers and let music lead you on an artsy drawing adventure. Make a night of it and attend A Night with Chris Thile in the Bethel Woods Event Gallery!


Saturday, September 28: Illuminated Photographs

Forget the tech, bring your creativity and a copy of a favorite photograph (or use one from the 1969 concert) and transform it with light and thread.

Make a day of it and attend Framing History in the Bethel Woods Event Gallery!


Saturday, October 5: No-Sew Cork Card Holder

Use renewable cork material to design a card holder to take home with you.

Plus, guests 21+ are encouraged to make a day of it and attend our 8th Annual Wine Festival!


Saturday, October 12: Sweet Dreams Hops Pillow

Hops are known to give good dreams. Stamp a design and take home a sachet of sweet dreams.

Plus, guests 21+ are encouraged to make a day of it and attend our 7th Annual Craft: Beer, Spirits, and Food Festival!


Saturday, October 19: Message Bracelets

Wear your heart on your sleeve... or at least on your wrist. Design a coded message bracelet!

Make a night of it and attend our final Vibrations event, Sixties @ 50.


Sunday, October 27: Trickster Masks

Release your inner trickster and make a printed animal mask from recycled materials, as part of Halloween at the Woods


Saturday, November 2: Puppets and Pirates

Story Pirates visit and it's Cookie Monster's birthday (Sesame Street's 50th too!) So we are making monster pirate puppets!


Saturday, November 9: Winged Wind Chime

Celebrate your freedom on World Freedom Day and let your freedom ring with a winged wind chime!
