About P.L.A.Y.

Bethel Woods’ Peace. Love. Arts. You. program invites children to explore creative arts at the historic festival site of the 1969 Woodstock Music and Art Fair, offering unique opportunities for skill development in a variety of ways, from art and music to movement and theater.

Led by Bethel Woods Teaching Artists and special guests, children will explore history, art, music, and the environment to ignite creative imagination. Program participants will enjoy plenty of outdoor time as well as access to The Museum collections and special exhibitions as part of the adventure.

Funding for P.L.A.Y. has been provided by Nellie and Robert Gipson of the Tianaderrah Foundation, the John N. Blackman Sr. Foundation and the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature. Additional funding has been provided by Bethel Woods Center for the Arts members and donors. View a copy of our annual report or visit our website  for a more comprehensive list of supporters.
