Are you an active artist, musician, writer, actor, director, dancer, or other creative professional? Are you interested in teaching and inspiring others to live creatively engaged lives?

If so, we invite you to join our team as a Teaching Artist! Please join us for our next Teaching Artist Open House on October 25th, from 6:30-8:30pm. Our 12 month Artist-In-Residence program offers a unique, exciting opportunity for artists to develop as professionals and engage with audiences of all ages.

All of our project-specific programs support our mission to inspire, educate and empower through creative learning. Opportunities to teach are part-time, project-based, and compensated with stipends.

Hear from the Teaching Artists themselves!

Natalie Sauer is a Teaching Artist for Bethel Woods' Project Identity: Photography Program - a 12 week program, which runs from February to May each year, that provides an opportunity for teens to learn the basics of photography, composition, historical photo processing and Adobe Photoshop. A culminating photobook and exhibition is developed and shared with the community.

The programs I’ve taught at Bethel Woods have made me realize teaching is my passion. It is why I decided to receive my Masters in Art Education. These programs are incredibly influential for the participants, the community, and those who support them! I am certain PI Photography will continue to inspire, empower, and educate the youth of this community!
