The Young People’s Chorus of New York City concert must recently schedule for May 2, 2021 has been rescheduled to Sunday, December 5, 2021 at 3:00 PM. Tickets will automatically be valid for the new date, unless the ticket buyer opts for a refund, donation, or credit within 30 days of the new show date being announced. The 30 day window closed on July 23, 2021 at 11:59 PM.

About The Show

For this concert, YPC’s award-winning choristers will weave together a program of choral classics, spirituals, songs from the Broadway stage, and many surprises, complete with show-stopping choreography in a “don’t miss” event.

PLAY: The Classics

Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, in collaboration with Shandelee Music Festival, is pleased to announce the third annual return of PLAY: The Classics in the magnificent Event Gallery at Bethel Woods. The goal of this series is to encourage and foster young talented emerging artists, help to build and cultivate a younger audience and increase attendance of all ages. Each concert is preceded by an enjoyable introduction to the music being performed, and followed by a specialty dessert reception where you will have the opportunity to relax, see friends and meet new acquaintances.

Keeping You COVID Safe

In attending the event, you certify and attest that you and all individuals in your party attending the event will abide by the following regulations:

  • All fans will provide printed proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 48-hours prior to entering the venue, OR will be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (at least two weeks after final dose) at the time of the event and provide proof of vaccination - either the original vaccination card or a printed copy of the vaccination card.
  • Unvaccinated fans under 12 years of age, or fans with a valid medical note preventing vaccination, will be required to take a COVID-19 diagnostic test within 48-hours before the event and will provide proof of negative result prior to entering the venue. These regulations will apply to all members of your party before they are allowed entry to the event and to any users of the tickets purchased by you.

  • Are masks required?

    If you are not vaccinated, we ask that you wear your mask during the show.

  • What type of test should I get? When and where should I get it?

    • Rapid antigen tests and molecular (aka PCR) tests will be accepted.
    • Here is a link to locate nearby testing sites.

  • What type of vaccination proof will you accept?

    ANY ONE of the following methods can be supplied for proving vaccination, along with a photo ID:

    • Physical vaccination card
    • Printed copy of vaccination card
    • NY Excelsior Pass

  • Will testing be available onsite?

    No, please make sure you have proof of negative test results prior to entering the venue.
