I chose to join this program to improve my skills and learn more about photography.

Taking photographs is calming to me. In a way, it distracts me from reality, and I want my viewers to have the same experience. I feel that life can sometimes be overwhelming and I feel that it’s important to have an outlet for stress relief. Project Identity Photo has impacted me by allowing me to focus on the aspects of my life mean the most to me. - Hannah, age 15.

The car caught my eye because it was shiny and captivating, I felt that the landscape was a simple addition that would even out the shininess of the car. The lack of luster from the landscape helps the car become a main interest.

When I took this picture, I was trying to capture the aggressive storm clouds on top of the horse that is meant to symbol an angelic, peaceful character that represents how the storm will eventually pass by.
