One of the finest singer/songwriters of our generation, the statuesque performer dazzles music lovers as a singer, pianist, composer, lyricist, arranger, actress, and educator. Her talents have made her equally at home in jazz and pop as well as on stage, in the recording studio, on TV and in film. She is best known for starring in the hit Broadway musical "SWING!" and for writing and singing the theme to the internationally successful TV series,” THE NANNY". Ann is a devoted keeper-of-the-flame of the great American songbook. She brings fresh and original interpretations to these timeless classics and works to uphold the canon by writing songs with Cole Porter, Carole King, Barbara Carroll and others. Her spontaneity, intelligence, and soulful charisma have won her a diverse fan-base including notables as Barbra Streisand, Clive Davis, Carly Simon and Wynton Marsalis.

Cole Porter did most of his writing late at night. Mark Nadler “…a firebreathing monster of uncontrollable, attention seeking talent emphasizing heart as well as heat” (Stephen Holden, The New York Times , April 26, 2016) explores the wit, the passion the romance and the randiness of Cole Porter’s late night musings. Looking deeply Porter’s various inspirations Nadler goes from the famous list songs such as “Let’s Do It”, “You’re the Top” and “CanCan” to love song such as “In the Still of the Night”, “Begin the Beguine” and “Night and Day”.

Scott Samuelson and Jeanne MacDonald have been old friends and performing together for the last 25 years. They began singing together when Jeanne joined the staff of singers in the cabaret room at Bradstan Country Hotel that Scott owns and operates with Edward Dudek. Scott and Jeanne love singing together and are thrilled to be returning to the stage at Bethel Woods after a sold out performance with other staff members in 2015. They are excited to share their brand new show that celebrates cabaret and their friendship through the years.

The Bradstan Cabaret Series features three performances by curator Scott Samuelson, Bradstan Country Hotel co-owner and founder of “Inn Cabaret”, who is dedicated to continuing the cabaret tradition in Sullivan County in collaboration with Bethel Woods Center for the Arts.
