About the Artist

Age: 14

Grade: 9th

School: Homeschooled

The subject matter I enjoy shooting is found in nature. The world seems so ugly right now and I feel that no matter the situation, artists can find beauty in all different places. I’d like to show more of that idea in my pictures. Dr. Seuss once said, “Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory,” so I would like to take photos of the smallest moments because it eventually could become a memory. I regularly go into the woods and trails near my house where you can hike to a little pond. This is a great place to practice all of the things I am learning and explore these ideas.

I saw this beautiful cloud that looked exactly like a wave just before it came crashing down.
