Grounds and Museum Policies

Conduct deemed by Bethel Woods to be inappropriate to the peace and good order of events or which may adversely affect the safety of others or their property will be immediately addressed by our staff. Visitors are responsible for their conduct as well as the conduct of their guests. Event patrons and guests who violate the code of conduct will be subject to ejection without refund.

Restricted Items

  • Usage of sporting equipment on the grounds (including roller-blades, skateboards, bikes, hoverboards, and segways)
  • Firearms, knives, fireworks
  • Glass of any kind (including bottles)
  • Laser pointers
  • Selfie Sticks
  • Audio and video recording equipment
  • Drones or unmanned aerial vehicles
  • Vapes


In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, guide dogs are always welcome, but otherwise please leave your pets at home.


Photography is allowed in the museum for personal, non-commercial use. (Policy may vary for some special exhibits). Tripods and other supports, flash and other lighting, allowed ONLY with prior written permission from museum management. The Museum Cafe, located right outside the Main Exhibit, will be open 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM with a limited menu. Please click here to view the dining menu.  

Smoking/Vape Pens

Bethel Woods, in consideration of our patrons, is a smoke-free campus. 


There is alcohol to purchase at The Museum Cafe. Please note you will be asked for proper identifications.
