On August 15, 2019, join us, Woodstock Alumni, and extraordinary guests for a free screening of the Warner Bros. Academy-Award winning documentary, Woodstock: The Director's Cut on the historic festival field to celebrate the anniversary on the very same site where the festival took place fifty years ago.
To add to the festivities, Woodstock alum, Arlo Guthrie, will perform prior to the film screening, fifty years to the day he appeared at the festival.
Projected on a giant 50-ft screen with state-of-the-art-sound, the 3.5hr film is the next best thing to being there 50 years ago. All ages are welcome, but we will strongly advise that the film is 4 hours long and is rated "R".
General public tickets are free but must be pre-ordered. Doors open 5pm. Special events begin at 7pm with a free concert by Arlo Guthrie. Opening ceremonies with the lighting of the Peace Sign at 8:30pm and film at 9:00pm.
Enjoy snacks and drinks from Yasgur’s Café, popcorn and goodies from food trucks. Sandwich box dinners are available.
VIP package includes early entry at 4pm, access to The Green Room for pre-show cocktails, and priority seating in Priority Seating Area. Lawn chairs are included.
