Lawn Chair Rentals
Sitting on the lawn listening to music. It truly doesn't get more Woodstock than that.
Though outside chairs are not permitted in the venue, we offer specially-designed lawn chairs appropriate for the slope of the lawn and designed with your comfort and safety in mind.
Chairs are available for an $8.00 rental. We strongly recommend you purchase in advance as price increases by $2.00 the day of a show and we cannot guarentee they will still be available at that time.
Am I guaranteed a Bethel Woods-issued lawn chair?
No. There are a limited number of lawn chair rentals, and just like tickets, these sell out. Lawn chair rentals are available beginning at the same time that lawn tickets go on sale.
Space permitting, upgrades are sometimes available day-of. Please visit the lawn chair rental booth upon arrival to find out if your concert is applicable for this upgrade.
Can I bring my own lawn chair or blanket?
Lawn chairs are NOT permitted to be brought into the venue. For your safety and convenience, Bethel Woods offers lawn chairs appropriate for the slope of the lawn. These chairs are available for rental at the Box Office or for purchase on our website in advance, or directly at the Lawn Chair Tent located at the top of the lawn in Festival Plaza (ask any staff member to guide you). There are a limited number of lawn chair rentals.
Blankets, tarps, and backless, stadium-style cushions are permitted for use on the lawn.
