Welcome to Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit cultural center located at the historic site of the 1969 Woodstock festival. We are committed to providing extraordinary experiences and access to the arts in a variety of spaces, including an open-air Pavilion; indoor Event Gallery; multi-purpose Market Sheds; studios for creative learning programs; the award-winning Museum at Bethel Woods; and a multifaceted campground.

We are saddened to hear about David Sanborn’s passing yesterday. David performed as part of the Paul Butterfield Blues Band at the 1969 Woodstock Music & Art Fair and we were lucky to see his return to our historic site in 2019 when he performed in the Event Gallery as part of the yearlong 50th Anniversary celebration.
