BuildFest: Art & Architecture
September 9-13, 2026, Open Call Going on Now!
BuildFest is Bethel Woods’ annual Art & Architecture Festival where students, faculty, and designers come together on the historic Woodstock grounds to design and build large-scale, interactive installations. Over several days, teams from universities across the country collaborate to push ideas in sustainable building, craftsmanship, and creative expression—blending art, architecture, and community in a unique public experience. Installations remain on view for festival attendees and the wider Bethel Woods community.
Harvest Festival
Sundays, Late Summer through Early Fall
Sundays from late summer through early fall, the Bethel Woods Harvest Festival showcases local farms and artisan vendors in the Sullivan Catskills. This annual upstate New York fall festival and farmers market features live music, food trucks, themed weekends, hands-on family activities, wagon rides, a corn maze, face painting, and pet adoptions.
Peace, Love & Pumpkins

Returning to Bethel Woods in October, 2026, don't miss Peace, Love & Pumpkins, the enchanting walk-thru Halloween experience! Wind through the garden trails of beautiful Bethel Woods, with thousands of unique hand-carved jack-o-lanterns and glowing displays of themed pumpkin art.

Peace, Love & Lights is a beloved Sullivan County holiday tradition, featuring miles of dazzling drive-through light displays across the historic Bethel Woods grounds. With new highlights like a drone light show on select nights, plus the Holiday Hub, live music, markets, and family programming, it’s a festive, all-ages experience that brings people together and supports the region during the winter season.
