Event Details
NYSAAE is excited about the upcoming Arts Advocacy Summit scheduled for Thursday, April 18, 2024 and we hope you will be able to join us online for this important Professional Development and Partnership Building opportunity. After careful review of registration, we have opted to move this event to a completely online event.
And for educators your participation will qualify for Continuing Education (CEU) credit. As we believe that this is a critical PD opportunity for teachers, administrators of all levels, parents, teaching artists, and community advocates, we felt although networking opportunities carry much value, we could focus this event in such a way to ensure value added benefits. If you have registered online to attend in person, you will receive a refund shortly and are automatically registered. If you have not registered at this point, please send an email to receive the online Zoom link by sending a request to nysallianceforartsed@gmail.com Please include in your email, your contact information inclusive of your first and last name, zip-code, school district and building and/or affiliation. Also share your prefered email contact to send the link to. In addition, please provide your mailing address and phone number, as well as grade levels you work with and area of concentration (Music, Dance, Theatre, Visual or Media Arts.) The link with the finalized agenda for the event will be distributed the night before (4/18) by 10pm. If you do not receive it for some reason, please send an email to lorijames.nysaae@gmail.com to help troubleshoot.
We hope that you will find value in this offering and will send your application for membership and dues in so we can continue to provide our online professional development and statewide advocacy efforts. Please find the membership application attached to this email as well. We look forward to "seeing" you online. And, remind you that through collaborative and proactive advocacy work, we can make Arts Education for ALL accessible and strong regardless of zip code in New York State.
Sincerely,
Lori Orestano-James NYSAAE, President
