In an alfalfa field speckled with wildflowers, a peaceful gathering of half a million took place. With peace and love at the core, it was an Aquarian exposition where daisies fell from helicopters and communication occurred by way of a red maple that overlooked an endless sea of people. Songbirds crooned alongside 32 performers — emerging artists who have now become legends. People came as individuals and left as a community. A life-changing event whose song is still sung today: “...we are stardust, we are golden, and we’ve got to get ourselves back to the garden."
