Dan Curland and his friends drove to Woodstock from Connecticut in a caravan arriving late Thursday night. Dan loved music and was at Woodstock to hear “Every note of every band.” Because of this experience, he devoted his life to music, founding and operating Mystic Disc which was voted “The best record store in Connecticut.” Dan is the last face you see in the 2019 KPBS documentary “Three Days that Defined a Generation.” He jokes it’s because they were looking for ”The happiest person at Woodstock.” Dan reconnected with the friends he attended with, and they are all with us today.
