E3: Artist in Residency Program
E3 (Engage. Experience. Explore.) brings visiting performance artists to your school!
Our goal is to educate, inspire, and empower students and educators through the shared experience of live performance.
Bethel Woods' Artist-in-Residence program provides access to world-class performing artists who inspire creativity and learning!

Classroom-based workshops for select classes
Schools are asked to contribute an honorarium to support the cost of this program.
Final schedule based on visiting E3 performance group lesson plans, in cooperation with school administration and staff.
Out-of-School Performance
Take a step out of the classroom to experience:

a free educational field trip to the Event Gallery at Bethel Woods

an hour-long school-day performance by the E3 Artist-in-Residence

Story Pirates
The Story Pirates believe that every child has a story to tell. They aim to motivate kids to write more and to express themselves, and to excite teachers and parents about the creative potential of their children.
Soul Inscribed
New York-based, six-piece band Soul Inscribed brews up a mix of hip-hop poetics and soulful vocals, propelled by a sonic blend of jazz, funk, and dub instrumentals. Soul Inscribed members are all veteran art educators and have brought their music to young audiences across the world. Their educational programming uses the allure of hip-hop-related art forms to get kids writing, expressing, moving, and thinking.
Camille A. Brown and Dancers
During their week-long residency, teaching artists from Camille A. Brown and Dancers' celebrated community engagement platform "Every Body Move," connecting virtually with local students during school and after-school workshops. Every Body Move (E.B.M.) works to inspire and incite ambitious collective action fueled by the art of social dance.
Sissieretta Jones
Sissieretta Jones! Jessye Norman's Portrait of a Legend: Sissieretta Jones illuminates the remarkable life and accomplishments of Matilda Sissieretta Joyner Jones (1868-1933), the "Black Patti", the superstar, yet unsung, singer of the American concert and theatrical stage at the beginning of the twentieth century.
123 Andrés
Andrés and Christina are the Latin Grammy-winning music duo: 123 Andrés. Their catchy songs and lively concerts get the whole family singing and learning, in Spanish and English!
