In this 8-week after-school music program for youth ages 7-13, active and thoughtful creation isn't just a mere endeavor, but a means of fostering personal growth, building connections, and cultivating a sense of belonging. Located on the historic site of the 1969 Woodstock Music and Art Faire, Studio at the Woods' after-school art and music classes bridge the past with the present, encouraging young artists to look beyond the canvas and notes, into a world of limitless possibilities and the enduring power of creative collaboration.

About the Series
Come and join the band during an 8-week after-school music program at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, on the sacred ground of the 1969 Woodstock Music and Art Faire. This program series is a fantastic opportunity for young aspiring musicians of all skill levels to immerse themselves in the world of music.
Led by experienced Teaching Artists, the program aims to provide a well-rounded musical experience by introducing participants to a diverse range of foundational musical styles and techniques. Through group lessons and individual instruction, classes will focus on developing skills in vocals, guitar, drums, and keyboard, ensuring that participants have a chance to discover where their interests and talents lie. By learning to play together, participants gain insights into the dynamics of group performance and the magic of creating harmonious music as a team. Connect your child with other local youth as they immerse in a fun, exciting musical 8-week journey to enhance their skills and foster creative growth!
