From expressive arts activities that ignite a creative flow to gentle mind-body practices like yoga and sound healing that warm both the body and spirit. Facilitated by a rotation of guest artists and wellness practitioners from the local area, these classes offer a holistic approach to well-being.
About Sara Patterson
Born and raised on a dairy farm in southwestern Pennsylvania, Sara Patterson is a ceramic artist living in Bethel, NY. Her path to clay began in New York City while working at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where an after-work pottery class sparked her passion. Inspired by salt and wood firing, her work draws on visual memories of the family farm—weathered barns, fields, and seasonal color. Sara is the retired owner and director of Earthworks NYC, a community studio where she taught for over 20 years, and now fires a salt kiln in Bethel, where she lives and gardens with her husband.
