From dusty psych grooves to ambient folk meditations, take a journey through cosmic jazz, eastern-inspired soundscapes, downtown art rock, and mellow new wave drift.
5:45 PM Spaghetti Eastern Music
Spaghetti Eastern Music is the genre-blurring project of Hudson Valley guitarist and keyboardist Sal Cataldi, blending funky jazz-rock instrumentals, ambient soundscapes, and intimate acoustic ballads. Praised by outlets including The New York Times and Time Out New York for its moody atmospheres and unique voice, the project has released the acclaimed album Sketches of Spam along with EPs and singles. Cataldi also performs in Guitars A Go Go, Vapor Vespers, and Spaceheater, and hosts the WGXC show Reading Is Funktamental.
6:45 PM Bird Week
Bird Week is a fuzzy, folk-ish indie rock band based out of Harrison, New York. The band is primarily driven by the songwriting of lead singer Justin Hatch. With a vocal eerily similar to early Geese, Hatch writes tracks that are steeped in New York City music culture with the cool undertones of 2000s Brooklyn.
