How can I find out when tickets will go on sale for a particular performance?

By joining the Bethel Woods Newsletter, you will be notified in advance about our season calendar of events. Also follow us on FacebookTwitter, and Instagram.

Are there any discounts for children at Pavilion stage concerts?

Children under 2 are allowed free on the lawn & children under 6 months old do not require a ticket to enter the pavilion. Some cultural performances may have youth discounts, and those discounts will be noted on the individual event pages on our website.

Strollers, car seats, or baby carriers are permitted on the lawn. However, in the Pavilion, the child must sit on the parent's lap. The stroller, car seat, or carrier can be parked just outside of the Pavilion aisles at your own risk. Please feel free to ask any staff member for assistance.

Where can I pick up tickets before a Pavilion stage performance?

Tickets can be picked up at the Will Call Table outside the Box Office on Hurd Road. Concert “will call” tickets can only be picked up when gates open on the day of show. Museum “will call” tickets can be picked up any time during normal business hours prior to your visit. Remember to bring your photo ID and the credit card you used for the ticket purchase.

Can I get a refund or exchange my tickets?

All ticket sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges. All dates, acts, times and ticket prices are subject to change without notice.

Can I see the Pavilion stage and hear music from the lawn area?

The general admission lawn seating area is designed with an incline in order to provide optimum sound and sight lines to the main stage.

Can tickets be reprinted if I have lost or misplaced them?

Yes. Contact customer service via your Ticketmaster account or call 1-800-653-8000 OR for a $2 fee at the Bethel Woods Box Office.

How early should I plan to arrive for a Pavilion concert?

Plan to arrive early. The parking lots and gates times vary by event. Allow yourself a minimum of 20 minutes to walk from your car to the Pavilion stage seating area.

My lawn ticket has a seat location. Does that mean I have a designated spot on the lawn?

No. The lawn is general admission. You may pick your seat on a first-come, first-serve basis. The seat location on your ticket is for Bethel Woods inventory tracking only. 

Where can I find information concerning traffic or weather concerns on performance days?

Visit our website or follow us on Facebook. You can also tune into 107.7FM for up to the minute concert and traffic information.

What happens in the event of inclement weather?

All shows are Rain or Shine and will not be canceled due to inclement weather. In the event of inclement weather and/or poor road conditions, the performance will go on as scheduled as long as the performer or attraction is present. There will be no refunds, credits or exchanges offered.

What is the ticket consumer warning?

Consumer Warning: Tickets obtained from sources other than Bethel Woods, Live Nation or Ticketmaster (our only authorized ticketing service) may be lost, stolen, or counterfeit and will not be honored. Know who you are buying from when you buy from a ticket broker or third-party website.

Are there age restrictions?

Bethel Woods Center for the Arts does not impose an age requirement to enter the venue for most events. Please check the event detail page for your specific event on our website to confirm whether any age restrictions have been imposed. We strongly suggest that guests under 18 years of age attending an event are accompanied by a parent or guardian. Bethel Woods does not provide a parent/guardian waiting area onsite, unless otherwise noted for a specific event.

Concert Policy FAQs

What are the general Pavilion concert policies?

At Bethel Woods, we strive to provide all our guests with a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable atmosphere by observing these general policies:

  • There is no charge for parking when entering our Healey Brothers lots.
  • The main concert General Gates open approximately 90 minutes prior to scheduled show time. The Member Gate opens approximately 30 minutes before General Gates.
  • Allow at least 20 minutes to travel from your vehicle to the Pavilion seating area.
  • Each guest in the pavilion must be a ticket holder with an assigned seat.
  • With the exception of service animals, pets are not allowed on the premises.
  • There is a no re-entry policy upon exiting.
  • We are a live-concert venue and you should expect guests to occasionally stand and dance, especially at rock, country, pop and contemporary concerts
  • Bethel Woods has designated smoking areas at the rear walkway at the TOP of the lawn hill. Smoking is limited to this designated area only. There is NO SMOKING on the lawn, in the Pavilion, or pathways. This includes the use of electronic cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cigars, pipes, and chewing tobacco. Non-compliance will be cause for removal from the facility

What can I bring to a Pavilion concert?

For the safety and convenience of all guests, every person and vehicle on premises is subject to search at the venue. This search may include the use of hand-held metal detectors and hand searches of individuals and carried items.

We strongly urge all Guests to budget additional time for entry into the venue when planning their visits. Any item or property that could affect the safety of the venue, its occupants or its property shall not be permitted into the venue. Bethel Woods reserves the right to prohibit or require removal of any items at their sole and absolute discretion. Any person that could affect the safety of the venue, its occupants or its property shall be denied entry.

Guests are welcome to bring the following into Bethel Woods: 

  • Blankets
  • Clear tote bags not to exceed 12”x6”x12”​
  • Small clutch purses no larger than 5.5x8.5” (palm size)
  • Hand-held umbrellas are allowed.  No beach style or ground mounted umbrellas are permitted.
  • Small hand-held cameras that fit in the pocket of jeans. Larger cameras, including professional cameras with multiple lens capabilities, are NOT permitted. Based on the restrictions of certain artists, this policy may vary. 
  • Stroller Wagons with Brakes (for children)
  • Food - one 1 gallon clear zip lock bag per person
  • Water (Revised March 2023)
    • PROHIBITED:
      • Unsealed plastic water bottles of any size
      • Metal/aluminum/non-plastic and glass reusable water or non-alcoholic bottles and cans, e.g. Thermos, HydroFlask, canned sodas, etc.
      • Alcoholic beverages of any kind
    • PERMITTED:
      • A limit of two (2) factory sealed plastic water bottles (20 oz. or less) per person
      • A limit of one (1) empty, reusable non-metal/non-aluminum water bottle e.g., Nalgene bottles, Camelbaks, Yetis, Travel mugs etc. (32 oz. or less) per person
        • Some artists may have more specific policies, such as the removal of lids or only allowing crushable, disposable bottles. We will do our best to communicate these policies as soon as we are made aware of them.

Bethel Woods Souvenir Cup:

The official Bethel Woods souvenir cup is a permitted item at Pavilion Concert entry, as per the reusable cup policy. Therefore, the Souvenir Cup can be reused outside of the cup purchase date. Refills can be redeemed throughout the Pavilion season ($8.00 Cup | $2.00 Refills)

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED AT BETHEL WOODS:

  • Lawn chairs are not permitted to be brought into the venue. For your safety and convenience, Bethel Woods offers specially designed lawn chairs appropriate for the slope of the lawn. These chairs are available for rent at the Box Office or PURCHASE ONLINE in advance.
  • Sporting equipment (including roller-blades, skateboards, bikes, hoverboards, and segways)
  • Bags that are restricted at Bethel Woods include (but are not limited to): purses larger than a clutch bag, hard or soft coolers, briefcases, backpacks, luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size.
  • Beach style umbrellas
  • Aerosol cans including bug spray and sunscreen
  • Firearms, knives, fireworks
  • Glass of any kind (including bottles)
  • Laser pointers
  • Hula Hoops
  • Selfie Sticks
  • Audio and video recording equipment
  • Drones or unmanned aerial vehicles
  • Tablets (including but not limited to iPads and Kindles as they are a distraction to other guests and the artists)
  • The use of charcoal grills are not permitted in the parking lots. Gas grills are permitted for use in the parking lots ONLY.
  • Some concerts may have additional restrictions. Please check individual event pages for specific restrictions.

Event patrons and guests who violate the Code of Conduct, such as drunk and disorderly behavior or violation of any alcohol policy, will be subject to ejection without refund. Bethel Woods management reserves the right to discontinue the sale of alcohol at any time.

What is the Clear Bag Policy?

As part of our continued commitment to public safety, guests will be able to carry only the following style and size bag, package or container into the venue and WILL BE SUBJECT TO A THOROUGH SEARCH

APPROVED BAGS INCLUDE:

  • CLEAR BAGS MADE OF PLASTIC, VINYL OR PVC AND DO NOT EXCEED 12" X 6" X 12" Items in the bag must be in clear plastic bags (Ziploc bag or similar)
  • ONE GALLON CLEAR PLASTIC FREEZER BAG (Ziploc bag or similar)
  • SMALL CLUTCH BAGS, APPROXIMATELY THE SIZE OF A HAND, WITH OR WITHOUT A HANDLE OR STRAP CAN BE TAKEN INTO THE VENUE WITH ONE OF THE CLEAR PLASTIC BAGS

PROHIBITED ITEMS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Purses larger than a clutch bag, hard or soft coolers, briefcases, luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size
  • An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection

  • Clear bags are available for purchase at the Museum Shop, as well as at the main gates on concert dates, in the parking lots, and at the front gate merchandise tent. 
  • Please note: there will be express entry lanes available for those who travel light.

Can I bring my own lawn chair or blanket?

Lawn chairs are NOT permitted to be brought into the venue. For your safety and convenience, Bethel Woods offers lawn chairs appropriate for the slope of the lawn. These chairs are available for rental at the Box Office or for purchase on our website in advance, or directly at the Lawn Chair Tent located at the top of the lawn in Festival Plaza (ask any staff member to guide you). There are a limited number of lawn chair rentals.

Blankets are permitted for use on the lawn.

Am I guaranteed a Bethel Woods-issued lawn chair?

No. There are a limited number of lawn chair rentals, and just like tickets do, these sell out. Lawn chair rentals go on-sale at the same time that lawn tickets go on sale.

You are always welcome to bring a blanket to sit on and upgrades are available if there is room under the pavilion.

Can I bring an umbrella into the venue?

Hand-held umbrellas are allowed for protection against inclement weather or strong sunlight. No beach style or ground-mounted umbrellas are permitted.

Can I bring food?

  • Food:
    • You may bring food (in 1-gallon Zip-loc style bag per person) 
  • Water (Revised March 2023)
    • PROHIBITED:
      • Unsealed plastic water bottles of any size

Small "point and shoot" cameras are allowed that fit within the pockets of jeans. However, larger cameras including professional style or with removable lenses are NOT permitted into the venue.

Can I bring my iPad/tablet or laptop?

No - Laptops, tablets, iPads, Nooks or any form of electronic device is not permitted at any of our performances.

Can I smoke at Bethel Woods?

What is the Standing & Dancing policy?

We are a live concert venue and you should expect guests to occasionally stand and dance, especially at rock and contemporary concerts.  We ask that all guests be mindful of those around them. If you need assistance with this matter, please seek out a Bethel Woods staff or volunteer.

Once I enter the venue, can I leave and return?

For safety reasons, Bethel Woods has a “no re-entry" policy. We recommend that our guests bring the items they will need with them and a light sweater or jacket as evenings can get cooler.

What is your "proper attire" policy?

We have a "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Entry" policy. For the safety of all guests, this policy is strictly enforced.

Where do I park for a Pavilion performance?

For General Parking, our parking staff will direct you to the appropriate general lots. For Museum or Event Gallery performances parking is in the main lot across from the Museum. For Pavilion Stage performances, Bethel Woods Members must have their official pass displayed in the windshield so that the parking staff may guide you to the appropriate lot.

What are the Healey Brothers Parking Lot guidelines?

Bethel Woods Center for the Arts prides itself in being a safe, family friendly environment for all guests. All guests must follow the directions and instructions provided by Bethel Woods staff security, and law enforcement. Bethel Woods permits tailgating under the conditions outlined in these Tailgating rules:

  • Patrons who do not have a ticket for the event may not park at Bethel Woods. Violators will be towed at the owner's expense and may be subject to law enforcement intervention.
  • Tailgating is not permitted once the main act takes the stage. Violators will be towed at the owner's expense and may be subject to law enforcement intervention.
  • One parking space per vehicle, including tailgating equipment and personal belongings is permitted. All items (vehicle, chairs, tents, cookers, etc.) must remain in the allotted parking space. Maintaining a clear aisle to accommodate emergency vehicles is imperative for maintaining a safe environment.
  • Guests are not permitted to reserve or save parking spaces for other guests. Groups desiring to tailgate together must arrive together to accommodate efficient and safe traffic flow.
  • Please drink responsibly when tailgating. Guests who appear to be impaired may not be allowed to enter the venue. Bethel Woods staff, security personnel and law enforcement will strictly enforce underage drinking policies in our parking lots.
  • Unauthorized soliciting, or the collection of contributions, vending, distribution of flyers, or other materials is not permitted.
  • Any person damaging Bethel Woods property will be responsible for the cost of repairs, including damages to grass, landscaping, fencing, furniture, or equipment.
  • While use of propane grills is permitted in parking lots, use of charcoal grills is prohibited. Fires built on the ground or any open fire pit devices are strictly prohibited.
  • Use of canopies during tailgating are permitted, however, NO GROUND STAKING is allowed on the blacktop, gravel, or grass. Please use sandbags or weights to secure your canopy.

Please remember that Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is private property. Violating our policies or Code of Conduct may result in ejction from the property, the revocation of tickets and/or law enforcement intervention.

All guests should cross roadways at the designated crosswalks, walk in the designated pedestrian walkways and should NOT WALK ON Hurd Road or West Shore Road.

General parking at Bethel Woods is free of charge. Please be wary of local neighbors with homemade parking signs. These parking areas are typically longer walking distances to the venue and are not safely accessible from the venue. For your safety, please park in official designated Bethel Woods parking areas.

What is the Designated Driver Program?

Consider taking advantage of our Designated Driver Program.  

Here’s how it works:

The Designated Driver stops at the Designated Driver Booth upon arrival to pick up their badge. After the show, the Designated Driver stops back at the Booth, hands in the badge and is entered to win a prize.

If it starts to rain, can I take an empty seat under the Pavilion?

All guests sitting under the pavilion are required to hold a ticket for a pavilion seat. But, if it rains, you may visit our Box Office or Lawn Chair Booth to upgrade your ticket to a pavilion seat, if inventory is available. Bethel Woods is an outdoor facility and the performances are not canceled due to inclement weather. We urge our guests to be prepared by tuning into local radio stations (WSUL 98.3, WVOS 95.5. THUNDER102 102.1) for information on the day’s weather forecast.
